- FREEconnect Application has been created and is distributed by FREE POLSKA SP. Z O.O. located in ul. Dobrego Pasterza 13/3, 31-416 Kraków, KRS: 0000198686, NIP: 525-229-18-50, REGON: 015652188, initial capital: 300 000, 00 PLN, further as “FREE POLSKA SP. Z O.O.”.
- FREE POLSKA SP. Z O.O. can be contacted via e-mail: biuro@gree.pl, by phone: 12 431 33 27, by post: ul. Dobrego Pasterza 13/3 31-416 Kraków.
- FREEconnect Application is intended to configure HVAC controllers, that are produced by FREE POLSKA SP. Z O.O., (further as: „Controller”) by connecting Users device with FREEconnect Application.
- FREEconnectApplication privacy policy (further as “Policy”) aims to provide information on using data and information by FREEconnect Application considering person using FREEconnect Application (further as “User”) or device on which it has been installed (further as: “Users Device”), and privileges to use necessary components of Users Device by FREEconnect Application.
- Rules of using Application, to the remaining extent, have been regulated in separate document – Application Regulations.
Rules of using data and information
FREEconnect Application does not gather or use ANY personal data of User, that is information on identified or possible to identify natural person. FREEconnect Application does not recognize Users identity.
- The only information that is being stored in FREEconnect Application that user can manage as desired are configuration snapshots created by user and preferences of the application, those preferences include only:
- FREEconnect Application theme,
- FREEconnect Application prefered temperature unit.
This data is used in order to configure FREEconnect Application behavior and look the way the User has decided it to be.
Rules of using privileges to Users Device components
- For proper functionality of FREEconnect Application it is necessary that FREEconnect Application uses components of Users Device.
- Before using these components FREEconnect Application will request for granting privileges to Users Device components.
- To use the FREEconnect Application following Users Device components are necessary:
a) Bluetooth, necessary for establishing connection and communication between Users Device and selected controller,
b) Location of Users Device, only necessary for finding surrounding BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices (including when application is closed or not in use). The physical location of the device is never determined or used for any purpose,
c) Writing and reading of device memory (write external storage, read external storage), necessary for:
- managing software update files for the controller,
- creating and managing configuration snapshots,
d) Vibration, necessary for informing user about copying app special password.
